As English is considered the language of intelligence MEI decided to invest a big amount giving utmost priority to make the students communicate in English in their day to day activities. In this regard, a series of activities were carried out and competitions were held among the students. The students were divided into four houses and teachers in-charge of houses were engaged in preparing their students for the competitions. Various activities like describing a given scenario, vocabulary building, listening and speaking to improve their speaking skills were organized. Students who very often speak English were identified and an English Club was formed. T shirts were gifted for the boys and scarfs were gifted to girls who were identified to be first batch of members of the English Club. As a result of these activities, now our students have started to speak English without any fear to conquer the world.
