Mercy Education Institute (MEI) joined the rest of the world, the UN and UNESCO on the 24th of January in celebrating the International Day of Education following the 2025 theme of: “AI and education: preserving human agency in a world of automation.
MEI commemorated the day colorfully and staged several programs like debates, drama, speeches, songs, and poems in line with AI and education. All secondary students and staff participated in the program. All the events were focused on the importance of AI and education, and more specifically, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). These programs were to showcase how education is prioritized.
