Zam Zam Foundation, functioning with the motto “Humanity Beyond Religion’ opened its its doors for Mercy Education Institute to conduct a two-day teacher training program at Green Communuty Experience Centre (GCEC) on 17th and 18th of September 2024. It was remarkable that the first group that enjoyed the residential facilities GCEC was none other than the academic and management staff of Mercy Education Institute. The two-day residential training programme which covered three main topics on ‘Personal Transformation Process’, ‘Education for Life’ and ‘The Role of Teachers in Social Transformation’ was immensely impactful. The sessions were conducted by three renowned personalities; Mr. A.L.M. Zarudeen (PDE, CP), Mufthy Yousuf Haniffa and Prof. M.S.M. Aslam (University of Sabragamuwa) respectively citing practical examples blended with their life experiences. The feedback from the participants clearly indicated that they have enjoyed the sessions and hospitality provided by Zam Zam Foundation with highest sense of thanks and gratitude. Further, as a result of the impact, teachers expressed they that they were determined to dedicate themselves to render a still better service with the support of the management to uplift the quality of education enabling the students to live a peaceful life while performing better in their public examinations.
The peaceful environment of GCEC was value-added feature of entire and the hospitality provided by the employees of Zam Zam Foundation was highly commendable.
